Prof. Anas ABOU EL KALAM

Professor Anas Abou El Kalam is a distinguished full professor of computer science at the National School of Applied Sciences (ENSA) in Marrakech, Morocco. He is widely recognized for his substantial contributions to information systems security, risk management, cryptography, cybersecurity, embedded systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Previously, he also served as the Assistant Director of the OSCARS Laboratory and managed the “Networks, Systems and Security” master’s program. He was also an associate professor at INP Toulouse, where he earned his HDR and PhD in security-related fields. At ENSIB, he headed both the Computer Science Department and the Networks and Systems Security Department.

His research is focused on cutting-edge topics, including blockchain-based security policies, security policies and models, IoT security, big data security, privacy, evaluation of security mechanisms, and the protection of critical infrastructures.

Professor Abou El Kalam is a member of several editorial boards of scientific journals and has participated in organizing numerous international conferences and workshops. His commitment to the scientific community and his dedication to teaching and research have made him a respected leader in his field.
